Hire charge for upstairs exhibition space

£190.00 for a one week booking.

£335.00 for a two week booking.

£28.00 per day thereafter.

The gallery is open 5 days a week. Take down on the day ending the exhibition, after the gallery is closed, normally 5pm. We advise artist(s) to invigilate as much as possible during their exhibition. A non refundable 50% deposit is required for all bookings. Outstanding amount required before hanging exhibition. There is no commission taken by the gallery on sales of artist's work.

To ensure Gallery 86's reputation, any exhibiting artists producing flyers, posters, invitations etc. are expected to produce publicity material of good quality. Gallery 86 also insists on overall control over the displaying of artwork and reserves the right not to hang work. All titles and prices must be handed over to the gallery no later than three days before the exhibition opens.

Private views are the decision of exhibiting artists and they are expected to make their own arrangements for refreshments and food. We are more than happy to discuss any arrangements you may wish to make with regards to private views.

A list of editorial contacts (newspapers and other publications) is available should exhibitors wish to use them. However, as in all cases, publication of any material will be down to the decision of the editors.

We will , on your request, mail our customers about your exhibition and private view providing exhibiting artists supply stamps and invitations. Emails are free of charge.
